Today, the Ministry held a meeting of the Commission under the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan on combating corruption.
The meeting was opened and announced by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. Reports at the event were made by the Leading Consultant of the sector on public service and personnel, responsible for prevention of corruption and other offenses, Elvira Ziyatdinova and the Leading Adviser to the legal department Venera Manikhova.
In the course of her speech, Elvira Ziyatdinova acquainted the participants of the meeting with the results of the review prepared by the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on anti-corruption policy based on the analysis of information provided by state authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan and local authorities on implementation of anti-corruption measures in the first quarter of 2020. In particular, she said that the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on anti-corruption policy recommended increasing the number of anti-corruption activities with participation of public associations and organizations and increasing their coverage in the media.
Elvira Ziyatdinova also presented a review of the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on anti-corruption policies on the state of corruption, implementation of anti-corruption policies in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2019 and the results of anti-corruption monitoring for 2019.
Venera Manikhova dwelled on the results of an anti-corruption examination of draft regulatory legal acts for 2019 and 5 months of 2020. According to her, last year anti-corruption expertise of 55 draft normative legal acts was carried out, this year 31 projects are planned. In 2019, 18 conclusions were received from independent experts, in 2020 no conclusions were received, said Venera Manikhova.
