Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov praised the quality of reforestation work in the Elabuzhskiy Forest District
Today, the Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rais Gumerov, paid a working visit to the Elabuzhskiy municipal district. The goal is to familiarize with activities of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Elabuzhskiy Forest District” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Elabuzhskiy Forestry Enterprise”. When visiting the facilities, he was accompanied by the Head-Forester, Ramis Gilaziyev, and the Director of the forestry enterprise, Minnegayan Mukhametzyanov.
In particular, Rais Gumerov assessed the quality of planting of forest crops in blocks 16, 51, 112 of the Mendeleyevskiy precinct forestry and blocks 6, 31 of the Mortovskiy precinct forestry of the Elabuzhskiy forest district. Ramis Gilaziyev said that this year reforestation was carried out on the territory of the forest district on the area of 56 hectares, laying of ravine-beam forest plantations - on 40 hectares, sowing seeds in the basic forest nursery - on 0.6 hectares. Currently, agrotechnical care of forest crops are being carried out; to date, work has been completed on the area of 102 hectares, 22 people are involved, he added.
The Deputy Minister also familiarized himself with the progress of improvement cutting in young stands in quarter 85 of the Mendeleyevskiy precinct forestry, examined the basic forest nursery and the production site of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Elabuzhskiy Forestry Enterprise”.
