A pupil of “Runga” school forest district will take part in the finals of the XVII All-Russian Junior Forestry Competition “Podrost”
From June 22 to 26, 2020, the Federal Forestry Agency will hold the final stage of the XVII All-Russian Junior Forestry Competition “Podrost”. This time, in connection with the prevailing sanitary and epidemiological situation, the finale will be held in a videoconference mode.
The competition will be held in the following categories: “Forest Management and Forestry”, “Ecology of Forest Animals”, “Ecology of Forest Plants”, “Project Environmental Activities”, “The Best Experimental Research Work of Students of Professional Educational Organizations of Forestry Profile”. At this stage, the jury will review the work of 83 finalists from 46 regions of the country. One of the contestants will be a pupil of the “Runga” school forest district of Runginskaya Secondary School of Buinskiy district Darya Samarkina. In the final, she will present her research work “Preserving the Forest Beauty” (nomination “Project Environmental Activity”).
Let us recall that the All-Russian Junior Forestry Competition “Podrost” has been held by the Federal Forestry Agency, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and the Federal Children’s Ecological and Biological Center since 2004. Pupils of general educational institutions and students of state educational institutions of secondary vocational education in the forest profile can become its participants.
