Air patrolling of forest is conducted in Tatarstan

In connection with the establishment of class IV fire hazard in the Republic of Tatarstan, air patrols of forests are carried out. Today, employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center” perform the flight around the territory on the aircraft Cessna 172.

The route runs over the forest fund of 14 municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. The total length of the route is 568 km. Along with this, ground-based and space-based monitoring of the fire hazard situation continues in the republic.

Let us recall that the fire hazard season in forests in the Republic of Tatarstan was opened on April 6, 2020.

According to fire safety regulations, it is prohibited in forests to:

1) make bonfires in coniferous young forests, in burnt areas, in areas of damaged forest, peat bogs, in places of felling (on cutting areas), not cleared of cutting residues and harvested wood, in places with dried grass, and also under the crowns of trees;

2) throw burning matches, cigarette butts and hot ash from smoking pipes, glass (glass bottles, cans, etc.);

3) use when hunting wads of combustible or smoldering materials;

4) leave materials oiled or saturated with gasoline, kerosene or other combustible substances (paper, cloth, towels, cotton wool, etc.) in places not specially provided for this purpose;

5) refuel the fuel tanks of internal combustion engines when the engine is running, use cars with a faulty engine power system, and also smoke or use an open flame near vehicles that are fueled;

6) litter the forest with household, construction, industrial and other waste and garbage.

Violation of fire safety rules in the forests entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of up to 3 thousand rubles, on officials - up to 20 thousand rubles, legal entities - up to 200 thousand rubles.
