A set of fire forest management measures is being taken in Tatarstan

In the Republic of Tatarstan, a set of measures is being taken for fire-prevention arrangement of forests. Within its framework as of July 2 of this year the construction of fire-fighting roads with a total length of 50 km and their reconstruction - 200 km were completed.

Also more than 790 pcs. stands, signs and pointers containing information on fire safety measures were installed in the forests and landscaping of 225 places of recreation for citizens staying in the forests was carried out.

Let us recall that earlier in the republic, work was completed on laying and updating fire mineralized strips. 2670.2 km of new strips were created and the existing barriers with a total length of 5448.9 km were maintained.
