Fire hazard season in forests continues in the Republic of Tatarstan
The fire hazard season continues in forests of the Republic of Tatarstan. Let us recall that it started on April 6 this year.
“The main area of work in the fight against forest fires is its warning. In this regard, monitoring of the fire hazard situation is currently being strengthened, a set of measures is also being taken for fire-prevention arrangement of forests and campaigning among the population, said Airat Akhmerov, Head of the State Control and Supervision Department of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. - Since the beginning of the year, the state forest inspectors of the republic have issued 1.4 thousand warnings about the inadmissibility of violating fire safety requirements and issued 19 decisions for their violation for a total amount of 92.5 thousand rubles”.
According to the data of the regional dispatching service of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”, 221 cases of fires in the territories bordering the forest fund on a total area of 65.7 hectares were recorded as of July 6, 2020.
