Employees of the Cheremshanskiy forestry enterprise carry out seasonal work in the base forest nursery
Employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Cheremshanskiy Forestry Enterprise” carry out seasonal work in the basic forest nursery. The forestry nursery is located in quarter 45 of the Kazankinskiy precinct forestry of the Cheremshanskiy forest district, its area is 11.2 hectares.
“This year we sowed seeds in a nursery on the area of 0.7 hectares. The seeds of pine, birch, European oak, European spruce, small-leaved linden and lanceolate ash were sown, said Director of the forestry enterprise Nikolai Kvakov. - Currently we are looking after seedlings. This, of course, is regular watering, weed control and inter-row tillage”.
“We also carry out work on care of two-year-old, three-year-old seedlings, added Nikolai Kvakov. - In total this year we plan to grow at least 300 thousand pieces of standard planting material for reforestation in 2021”.
