In connection with the extreme heat in a number of municipal districts, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan asks the Tatarstan people to strictly observe fire safety rules in the forest. “According to statistics, 9 out of 10 forest fires are caused by humans. That is, 90% of fires are associated with violation of fire safety rules in forests and careless handling of fire, said Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. - We earnestly ask citizens to observe fire safety rules in forests, not to make fires and not to leave garbage after themselves, which can cause forest fires. Forest is wealth, a source of life, a guarantee of the environmental safety of our native republic. Its preservation depends on each of us”.
We remind you that according to the rules of fire safety, it is prohibited in forests:
1) make bonfires in coniferous young forests, in burnt areas, in areas of damaged forest, peat bogs, in places of felling (on cutting areas) not cleared of cutting residues and harvested wood, in places with dried grass, and also under the crowns of trees;
2) throw burning matches, cigarette butts and hot ash from smoking pipes, glass (glass bottles, cans, etc.);
3) use when hunting wads of combustible or smoldering materials;
4) leave materials oiled or saturated with gasoline, kerosene or other combustible substances (paper, cloth, towels, cotton, etc.) in places not specially provided for this purpose;
5) refuel the fuel tanks of internal combustion engines when the engine is running, use cars with a faulty engine power system, and also smoke or use an open flame near vehicles that are fueled;
6) litter the forest with household, construction, industrial and other waste and garbage.
Violation of fire safety rules in forests entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of up to 3 thousand rubles, on officials - up to 20 thousand rubles, legal entities - up to 200 thousand rubles.
