A high class of fire hazard in forests is expected in some places until July 15 in the Republic of Tatarstan

According to the FSBI “UGMS of the Republic of Tatarstan”, by July 15, 2020, a high class of fire hazard in forests is expected in some places in the Republic of Tatarstan. The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan reminds that in 90% of cases the main cause of forest fires is a violation of fire safety rules and careless handling of fire.

In order to ensure fire safety in forests in the Republic of Tatarstan, space-based monitoring of the fire hazard, aviation (1.2 million ha) and ground (11 thousand ha) is carried out. Also, the regional dispatching service of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest and Fire Center” (tel. 8-800-100-94-00, 8 (843) 221-37-95) is working around the clock.
