Employees of the RT Forest Protection Center monitor pest populations using pheromone traps

Employees of the Federal Budgetary Institution “Roslesozashchita” branch - the “Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan” monitor pest populations using pheromone traps. This week, specialists of the institution carried out work on counting the number of trapped insects and replaced dispensers in pheromone traps with a bark beetle in the forest fund of the Lubyanskiy forest district.

The audit revealed a low number of captured insects, which is probably due to lower night air temperatures in the third decade of June. According to the branch employees, observations of pests in the forestry area will continue in July-September this year.
