Sanitary and recreational activities were carried out in forests on the area of 1.7 thousand hectares in Tatarstan

Work on improvement of the sanitary condition of forest plantations continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. According to specialists from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of July 17 of this year, sanitary and recreational activities were carried out on the area of ​​1.7 thousand hectares, incl. harvesting illiquid timber - on 1.1 thousand hectares. High rates of work are demonstrated by the employees of the Educational Experimental Sabinskiy, Cheremshanskiy and Kaleikinskiy forestry enterprises of the republic.

Let us remind you that sanitary and recreational activities are part of the complex of forest protection measures. They are carried out in order to preserve the biological stability of plantings, prevent the widespread development of pathological processes in the forest, and reduce damage from pests and diseases.
