Industry experts explain to citizens the features of the restrictions on citizens’ stay in forests and the entry of vehicles into forests

Forestry specialists conduct explanatory work among the population about the peculiarities of the regime introduced in the Republic of Tatarstan to restrict the stay of citizens in forests and the entry of vehicles into them. For example, the employees of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Elabuzhskiy Forest District” gave interviews to the correspondents of the TV channel “ESN”, the regional newspaper ‘Novaya Kama” and the radio ‘Kunel”.

“Also, in accordance with the decree, we have established warning notices about the introduction of the restriction, the period of its validity and barriers on forest roads, said Ramis Gilaziyev, Head-Forester of the SPI of RT “Elabuzhskiy forest district”. – We organized round-the-clock duty, state forest inspectors have increased patrolling in the forest. Along with this, the full readiness of a type II forest fire station at the Elabuzhskiy forestry enterprise was ensured for prompt response to messages about forest fires”.

Such works are currently being carried out in all forest districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. Let us recall that due to the high class of fire hazard in forests, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 589 dated July 14, 2020 in the Republic of Tatarstan introduced restrictions on the stay of citizens in forests and the entry of vehicles into them from July 15 for 21 calendar days. Restrictions are established in relation to forests located on the lands of the forest fund of the republic.

Fire safety in the forest is provided by 20 type II forest fire stations and 5 type III forest fire stations. Space, aviation and ground monitoring of the fire hazardous situation in the forests is being carried out, in addition, a set of measures is being taken for the fire-prevention arrangement of forests.
