The Ministry summed up the results of the “Lesovoz” operational and preventive measures
The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the operational and preventive measure “Lesovoz”. The operation was carried out from June 15 to July 15 this year.
As part of the operation, 222 raids were carried out, in which 222 state forest inspectors and 126 employees of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan took part. 332 vehicles loaded with timber were checked, 2 administrative cases were initiated under part 5 of article 8.28.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for transportation of timber without an accompanying document drawn up in accordance with the forest legislation.
Transportation of timber without an accompanying document drawn up in accordance with the forest legislation procedure entails the imposition of an administrative fine on officials in the amount of 30 to 50 thousand rubles with confiscation of timber and (or) vehicles that are an instrument of committing an administrative offense, or without it; for legal entities - from 500 to 700 thousand rubles with confiscation of timber and (or) vehicles, which are an instrument of committing an administrative offense, or without it.
