A tree planting event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the republican executive authorities was held in Kazan
Today, in the park on Mira street in Derbyshki, a tree planting action was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the republican executive authorities. The event was attended by employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, GKU RT “Prigorodny Forestry”, GBU RT “Educational-Experimental Prigorodny Forestry”, MBU “Directorate of Parks and Squares of Kazan”, etc.
In total, 100 seedlings of European spruce, prickly spruce and small-leaved linden were planted on this site.
“The date of formation of the republican executive bodies is considered to be June 25, 1920, when the full power was transferred to the Provisional Revolutionary Committee, created by the All-Russian Central Executive Committee. As we remember, Sahibgarey Said-Galiyev became its head, ‒ said Timur Galiev, head of the department of forest reproduction and afforestation of the Ministry. ‒ Since that time, Tatarstan has passed a difficult path and has become one of the dynamically developing subjects of the Russian Federation. The purpose of this action is to perpetuate the memory of prominent statesmen who initiated economic, social, cultural and educational transformations in the republic.”
