Ravil Kuzyurov met with Vitaly Akberdin, director of the Russian Forest Protection Center
Today the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov met with the director of the Russian Forest Protection Center Vitaly Akberdin. The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov and Director of the branch of FBU “Roslesozashchita” ‒ “Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan” Nadezhda Kuzyakina.
Opening the meeting, Ravil Kuzyurov familiarized the audience with the state of the forestry complex of the Republic of Tatarstan and the ongoing work to improve the sanitary condition of forest plantations. In particular, he said that to date, work on forest pathological examination on an area of more than 17.8 thousand hectares and sanitary and recreational measures on an area of 2.5 thousand hectares have been carried out in the republic.
In turn, Vitaly Akberdin dwelled on the activities of the Russian Forest Protection Center, innovative methods of combating forest diseases and pests.
Further, the meeting participants discussed the work plan to improve the sanitary condition of forest plantations in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2021.
