On September 25 and 26, 2020, the Republic of Tatarstan will host events within the framework of the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest”.
On September 25 this year, the All-Russian Day of Forest Planting will take place on the territory of the forest fund in the division 12 of quarter 48 of the Aryshsky district forestry of the Kyzyl-Yulduz forestry. It is expected that the event will be attended by the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation ‒ Head of the Federal Forestry Agency Sergey Anoprienko, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov and others.
In total, 10 thousand Scots pine seedlings will be planted on this site on an area of 2.5 hectares.
On September 26 this year, tree planting will be organized in all municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. For these purposes, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan prepared more than 1 million pieces of standard planting material (seedlings of Scots pine, European spruce, Siberian larch, small-leaved linden, Rowan, etc.).
Republican nature conservation actions for planting trees have been carried out by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tajikistan since 2011. Their goal is the reproduction and augmentation of the republic's forest resources, fostering a careful attitude to the forest, drawing public attention to the problems of its conservation and improving the ecological situation in general. For 10 years, as part of the campaigns in Tatarstan, new forest plantations were planted on an area of more than 6.5 thousand hectares, 25 million planting material was used, and the total number of participants exceeded 435 thousand people.
