President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and head of Rosleskhoz Sergei Anoprienko took part in planting trees as part of the All-Russian campaign “Save the forest”
Today, in the division of the 12th quarter of the 48th Arysh district forestry of the Kyzyl-Yulduz forestry, trees were planted as part of the All-Russian campaign “Save the forest”. The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation ‒ Head of the Federal Forestry Agency Sergey Anoprienko, Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Roslesinforg Pavel Chashchin, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov and others.
Before planting trees, Rustam Minnikhanov and Sergei Anoprienko got acquainted with the activities of the laboratory of microclonal vegetative reproduction of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Educational and Experimental Sabinsky Forestry”, and also examined forest fire and forestry equipment.
Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the participants of the event on the last professional holiday ‒ Day of Forest Workers. He stressed that the profession of a forester is very important and worthy, it requires not only the fulfillment of their duties, but also a sincere love for nature.
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation - Head of the Federal Forestry Agency Sergey Anoprienko noted that the production of planting material, protective afforestation is actively developing in Tatarstan, a high level of fire safety in forests is noted, and forestry and forestry enterprises are equipped with new special equipment. “This became possible thanks to the support of the regional authorities,” he said.
Sergei Anoprienko also added that the region has already met all the indicators laid down for the current year for the federal project “Preservation of Forests” of the national project “Ecology”.
“Within the framework of the federal project “Preservation of Forests” there is a key indicator ‒ by 2024 we must ensure the balance of disposal and reproduction of forests in the ratio of 100%. The Republic of Tatarstan, participating in measures for reforestation, preventing fires on the lands of the forest fund, has already exceeded this indicator ‒ with a regional plan of almost 70%, this year they achieved 180%,” said Sergei Anoprienko.
In total, 10 thousand Scots pine seedlings were planted on this site on an area of 2.5 hectares.
We remind you that tomorrow, September 26, tree planting will be organized in all municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. For these purposes, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan has prepared more than 1 million pieces of standard planting material (seedlings of Scots pine, European spruce, Siberian larch, small-leaved linden, mountain ash, etc.).
