Employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Cheremshansky forestry” completed a number of works within the autumn forestry season. “According to the state order, we have completed the addition of forest crops on an area of 77 hectares, prepared soil plots for next year's crops on 20 hectares and soil in a basic forest nursery on 4 hectares,” said the director of the forestry Nikolay Kvakov.
“At the same time, we have exceeded the plan for harvesting seeds of forest plants. So, to date, with a plan of 225 kg, we have collected 20 kg of coniferous seeds and 300 kg of deciduous seeds, ‒ added Nikolai Kvakov. ‒ We are currently making an inventory of planting material in the nursery. The work will be completed in the near future.”
