Ministry employees presented gifts to forestry veterans in honor of the International Day of Older Persons
The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan pays special attention to veterans who have worked for the benefit of the development of the republic's forest industry in different years. So today, in honor of the International Day of Older Persons, the specialists of the Ministry visited the veterans and presented them with gifts.

International Day of Older Persons is celebrated annually on October 1. The holiday was established on December 14, 1990 by the decision of the UN General Assembly. The goal of the International Day of Older Persons is to draw public attention to the problems of older people, raise awareness of their contribution to the development of society and the need to change attitudes towards older people, ensure their independence, the necessary care and conditions for realizing their inner potential.
