All-Russian Forum of forest sector members.

In International exhibition center “Crocus Expo” in Moscow started its work All-Russian forum of forest sector members.

To take part in this Forum came more than 1.5 thousands of members of forestry all round Russia: the heads of executive authorities of the Russian Federation, the representatives of scientific associations, wood enterprises, public organizations and so on. Also in Forum took active part the representatives of the State Duma, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The delegation of Republic of Tatarstan on this Forum is headed by the Minister of Forestry Nail Magdeev.

This Forum was opened by Vice-Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation A.V. Dvorkovich: “From the name of Government of the Russian Federation I would like to congratulate you with the opening of Forum. I want to thank you for the work and efforts which you do every day that you are giving a part of your soul to a good cause of forest maintenance. The appearance of new technologies is demanding new approaches and a science, even in forestry forge ahead. To a greater extent this is all about growing of tree-planting materials. Serious step forward was done in the sphere of forest firefighting technic equipment. We are also planning to take other steps on strengthening of material and technical facilities… Last year it was taken into consideration a Program of forestry development. I want to notice that this is a program of minimum. But together with you making efforts we can do much more.”

Also Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russian Federation Sergei Donskoi had an opening speech in which he noticed that in forestry sector it is accumulated a great potential: “It is very important for us to use in a right way a bundle of knowledge we have.”
