Today, the Ministry hosted a meeting of the Commission for Combating Corruption under the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov opened the meeting and announced the rules of procedure.
The leading consultant of the sector on civil service and personnel of the Ministry, responsible for the prevention of corruption and other offenses, Elvira Ziyatdinova and the head of the department of state control and supervision, Airat Akhmerov, made reports at the event.
Elvira Ziyatdinova spoke about the results of work in the field of anti-corruption policy for 9 months of 2020. She recalled that the activities in the field of combating corruption in the Ministry are carried out in accordance with the state program approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 07.19.2014 No. 512 and the departmental anti-corruption program of the Ministry. “One of the main tasks is to carry out work on the reception and verification of the accuracy and completeness of information provided by state civil servants about their income, expenses, property and property obligations, as well as their spouses and minor children,” noted Elvira Ziyatdinova.
The declaration campaign was carried out from January 1 to August 1 of the current year. Information on income, expenses, property and property obligations was provided by 60 employees of the Ministry and 62 heads of subordinate institutions.
“In order to ensure the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and organizations from threats related to corruption, the Ministry operates a hotline. In the reporting period, there were no anonymous appeals, ‒ added Elvira Ziyatdinova. ‒ At present, a public opinion poll on the state of the fight against corruption is being conducted on the portal of the Ministry in the section “Combating Corruption”. The results of this survey will be posted on the website and reviewed at the next meeting of the commission”.
Airat Akhmerov acquainted the participants with the meeting with the results of work on the prevention of corruption offenses in the implementation of the federal state forest supervision (forest protection) in the Republic of Tatarstan In particular, he said that for 9 months of this year the state forest inspectors of the republic carried out 15.8 thousand control and supervisory measures and revealed 254 violations of forest legislation.
“Also, during this period, the employees of the department of state control and supervision reviewed 183 complaints from citizens on the facts of violation of the requirements of forest legislation, received through the website of the Ministry, e-mail, mail of Russia, GIS “People's Control” and the system of the Federal Agency for Forestry “Take care of forests”, ‒ said Ayrat Akhmerov. ‒ In order to prevent and prevent corruption offenses, we ensure the availability of information on law enforcement practice by publishing it on the Ministry's website and other resources.”
At the end of the event, Elvira Ziyatdinova presented an overview prepared by the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on Anti-Corruption Policy on the results of measures taken by state authorities and local governments of the Republic of Tatarstan to counter corruption and identify facts of conflict of interest for the first half of this year.
