Today, the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the republican project “Steps of Victory – 2020” and awarded the winners of competitions held within its framework. The event was attended by Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Ildar Gilmutdinov, Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan Damir Fattakhov, Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Archival Affairs Gulnara Gabdrakhmanova and others.
The republican project “Steps of Victory” has been implemented in Tatarstan over the past three years. This year it covered 42 municipal districts, more than 1.5 thousand students from 211 educational institutions became participants in the project. Due to the unfavorable sanitary and epidemiological situation and the threat of the spread of a new coronavirus infection, many of the project's activities were held online.
From April 16 to May 9, the guys weekly took one step of kindness and assistance to veterans as part of the republican actions “Letter of Victory”, “We speak out loud in silence”, “Victory Waltz”, “Victory Record”, “Movie Break”, “My Family relic”, as well as all-Russian and international “Windows of Victory”, “Flashlights of Victory”, “St. George's Ribbon”, “War and Peace” and “Garden of Memory”.
It should be noted that those who distinguished themselves were also encouraged by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. For an active civic position and organization of events for the improvement of monuments and military graves within the framework of the republican project “Steps of Victory – 2020”, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan was awarded the TRO VOD “Victory Volunteers” and the school teams of the TRO VOD “Victory Volunteers” MBOU Khasanshaikh OOSh of Arsky district, MBOU Kungersky secondary school of Atninsky district, MBOU Bolsheelginsky secondary school, MBOU Bolshe-Mashlyakovsky secondary school and MBOU Yamashevsky secondary school of Rybno-Slobodsky district. The awards were presented by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov.
