Employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Tetyushsky forestry” carried out the autumn sowing of oak acorns in the basic forest nursery. According to the director of the forestry enterprise Rais Khalitov, 4 thousand kg of acorns were sown in total.

“We worked for 3 days ‒ from 12 to 14 October, 7 people were involved, ‒ said Rais Khalitov. ‒ We practice autumn sowing of oak acorns. Now the climate has changed, warm winters. The air temperature does not drop below -30 degrees. Therefore, acorns overwinter well, and seedlings will appear next spring. In 2 years, we will be able to transplant the seedlings into the forest fund”.
