In the village of Verkhniy Uslon, Verkhneuslonsky municipal district, a park was laid in honor of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Tatar ASSR and the “Alley of moms” as part of the All-Russian action “Save the forest”. The events were attended by specialists from the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Privolzhsky forestry”, the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Privolzhsky district forestry”, representatives of the executive committee, institutions, organizations and enterprises of the region. In total, they planted 4.7 thousand seedlings of oak, pine, larch, mountain ash and linden.
“The idea of laying the “Alley of Moms” was born long ago. For planting were selected such tree species as mountain ash and linden, ‒ said the head of the local branch of the World Public Organization of Tatar Women “Ak Kalfak” Alfiya Mingazova. ‒ It’s not in vain that since ancient times the mountain ash has been considered a symbol of family happiness, strong and faithful love, and linden ‒ femininity, softness and tenderness”.
Also, tree planting was carried out on the territory of the “Zakazanie” park in the village of Vysokaya Gora, Vysokogorsky municipal district. The participants of the action were employees of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Let us remind you that the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest” started on August 26, 2020. Its goal is to plant 40 million trees.
