In the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Arsky forestry” the inventory of planting material in the basic forest nurseries has been completed. “In total, 1.7 million seedlings and seedlings have been grown this year, of which pines ‒ 1.3 million pieces, spruce ‒ 239 thousand pieces, larch ‒ 204 thousand pieces, ‒ said Ilsiyar Salyamova, an engineer for forest management of the Arsky Forestry State Administration of Tatarstan. ‒ This amount of planting material is sufficient for reforestation next year”.
So, in 2020, on the territory of the forestry, work will be carried out on planting forest cultures on an area of 50 hectares, laying gully-ravine forest plantations ‒ on 85 hectares, adding forest cultures ‒ on 220 hectares.
“Work on the care of seedlings in the nursery continues now. Recently, in order to prevent fungal diseases, seedlings and seedlings of conifers were sprayed,” added Ilsiyar Salyamova.
