Reforestation engineer of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nizhnekamsky forestry” conducted a lesson for pupils of the school forestry
Forestry specialists are actively working with pupils of the republic's school forestries. So, yesterday, October 28th, Rashit Akhatov, an engineer on reforestation of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nizhnekamsky forestry”, conducted a lesson for the members of the Friends of the Forest association MBOU “Secondary School No. 21” of the Nizhnekamsky municipal district.
During the lesson, Rashit Akhatov told the students about the forest, its most important ecological, economic and social functions, the main activities of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nizhnekamsky forestry” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nizhnekamsky forestry enterprise”. Along with this, the engineer elaborated on the rules of fire and sanitary safety in forests.
Also, during the meeting, the students learned about the work of a type II forest fire station and the importance of fencing off anthills.
