An apparatus meeting was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan

Today, an apparatus meeting was held at the Ministry, at which the results of work for 10 months of 2020 were summed up and tasks for the coming period were outlined. It was chaired by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. The event was attended by deputy ministers, a business manager, heads and specialists of the Ministry's structural units.

The meeting participants reported to the Minister on the forest cultivation, forest protection and forestry work performed in the Republic of Tatarstan, the implementation of federal state forest supervision, the implementation of the legislation of the Republic of Tatarstan on state languages, the process of introducing the Geoinformation system of the forest fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc.

In particular, the minister was told that since the beginning of the year, state forest inspectors of the republic have conducted more than 17.1 thousand patrols in the forests and drawn up 728 protocols on administrative violations. The most frequent offenses were violations of sanitary and fire safety rules in forests and the terms of contracts by forest users.

Despite the pandemic, forestry specialists pay special attention to the development of the movement of school forestries of the Republic of Tatarstan. So, over the past year, their number increased by 42 and reached 110, and in total the movement unites more than 1550 people.

After listening to the reports, the head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov gave a number of instructions to the employees of the Ministry related to the conduct of control and supervisory activities, the submission of reporting documentation, further digitalization of the forest complex, etc.

“It is necessary to strengthen control over the detection and prevention of violations of forestry legislation. This is especially true for the activities of the lessees of forest plots,” the minister concluded.
