In the Republic of Tatarstan, work continues to improve the sanitary condition of forest plantations. According to specialists from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of November 10 of this year, sanitary and recreational activities were carried out on an area of ​​4.1 thousand hectares, including the harvesting of illiquid wood on 3 thousand hectares. The employees of the Cheremshansky, Mamadyshsky and Isleitarsky forestry enterprises of the republic demonstrate high rates of work.

Sanitary and recreational activities are part of the complex of forest protection measures. They are carried out in order to preserve the biological stability of plantations, prevent the widespread development of pathological processes in the forest, and reduce damage from pests and diseases.
