Tatarstan procured 13.5 tons of seeds of the main forest-forming species
In the Republic of Tatarstan, the plan for harvesting seeds of the main forest-forming species has been fulfilled. So, according to experts from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, a total of 13.5 thousand kg of seeds were harvested, of which pine ‒ 501 kg, spruce ‒ 133 kg, larch ‒ 59 kg, oak ‒ 12.5 thousand kg, other species ‒ 307 kg.
Among the leaders in the collection of seeds are the Kaibitsky, Kaleykinsky, Tetyushsky and Zainsky forestry enterprises of the republic.
It should be reminded that the harvesting of seeds of forest plants is an additional indicator of the regional project “Preservation of forests in the Republic of Tatarstan” within the framework of the federal project “Preservation of forests” of the national project “Ecology”. According to the plan, this year it was necessary to collect 11.4 thousand kg of seeds.
