A meeting of the discussion club “Corruption risks in the environment” was held at the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, the RT Ministry of Ecology hosted a meeting of the discussion club on the topic “Corruption risks in the environment”. The event was organized by the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on anti-corruption policy.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan ‒ Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of environmental protection Fayaz Shakirov, First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Nasyrov, Deputy Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor Olga Melnik and others.
Representatives of republican departments and prosecutors spoke about the work carried out in the field of combating corruption, discussed the topic with members of youth environmental organizations and answered questions identified by the youth government based on the results of communication with youth representatives and monitoring of social networks. During the discussion, the meeting participants also touched upon the implementation of the national project “Ecology” in the republic and the implementation of supervisory activities.
The meeting was held in the format of a constructive dialogue. Summing up the results, the parties noted the importance and necessity of organizing such discussion platforms.
