The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan discussed the possibilities of increasing the effectiveness of the fight against corruption
Today in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan a plenary meeting of the IV Council of Public Organizations and Associations of the Republic of Tatarstan on Combating Corruption was held. The event was timed to coincide with the International Anti-Corruption Day.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for anti-corruption policy, ministries, departments, organizations, institutions of the republic, incl. from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan ‒ First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov.
In his welcoming speech, Ilgizar Zaripov stressed the importance of implementing measures aimed at combating corruption. “Fighting corruption is one of the main tasks facing the state and society, ‒ he said. ‒ We can defeat corruption only together, by uniting our efforts.”
During the meeting, the topical problems of ensuring economic security in the field of combating corruption at the present stage were considered. The participants discussed issues of ensuring the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, society and the state from threats related to corruption, aspects of the implementation of anti-corruption legislation in the Russian Federation, the specifics of implementing preventive measures to combat corruption in the Republic of Tatarstan, etc.
