Today in the Department of Forestry in the Volga Federal District a meeting of the headquarters for the coordination of activities to extinguish forest fires in the Volga Federal District was held. The meeting was held by videoconference, chaired by the head of the department, Alexander Ornatsky.
The event was attended by representatives of the forest management bodies of the district, incl. from the Republic of Tatarstan ‒ First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov and Head of the Sector for the Protection and Protection of the Forest Fund of the Ministry Alexei Mosunov.
During the meeting, Alexander Ornatsky dwelled on the results of the fire hazardous season in forests in the constituent entities of the Volga Federal District, the purchase of forest fire-fighting equipment and equipment within the framework of the federal project “Preservation of Forests” and tasks for 2021.
At the end of the meeting, the issues of developing consolidated plans for extinguishing forest fires were discussed.
