Online Open Day was held at the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of KSAU
At the end of last week at the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of Kazan State Agrarian University, an online open day was held. The event was held in conference mode based on the Zoom platform. It was attended by the head of the Center for Pre-University Education and Employment of Graduates Guzel Fassakhova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Forestry and Forest Plantations Renat Gafiyatov, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Niyaz Safiullin, and others.
Guzel Fassakhova and Renat Gafiyatov told the applicants about the directions of training of the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of KSAU, the results of admission to the university in 2020 and the peculiarities of admission in 2021, as well as the employment opportunities for graduates.
“The faculty was founded in 2003. Currently, there are the departments “Forestry and forest cultures” and “Taxation and economics of the forest industry”, ‒ said Renat Gafiyatov. ‒ In parallel with forestry disciplines, students study such disciplines as “Landscape Science”, “Fundamentals of forest park economy”, “Greening of cities and towns”.
In addition, the event included the “Guess the profession by emoji” contest and the interactive game “Cloud of professions”.
At the end of the video conference, the organizers answered questions from applicants, in particular, about scholarships and living conditions in hostels.
