The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the work and discussed the tasks for 2021
Today, the Ministry hosted a videoconference meeting on the topic “On the results of the work of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and subordinate institutions in 2020 and tasks for 2021”. It was chaired by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. The event was attended by deputy ministers, a business manager, heads of structural divisions of the Ministry, heads of forest rangers and directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.
Opening the meeting, the head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov recalled the need to comply with preventive measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19. “Take care of yourself, your loved ones and strictly observe all security measures,” he said.
Deputy Ministers of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov and Rais Gumerov made reports at the meeting.
First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov spoke about the fulfillment of the state assignment for the implementation of a set of works for the protection, protection and reproduction of forests in 2020. “Our region is sparsely forested, therefore, among the priority areas of our activity are forest reproduction and afforestation, ‒ he said. ‒ So, this year in the republic under the federal project “Preservation of Forests” of the national project “Ecology” work was carried out on artificial reforestation on an area of 2193 hectares, combined reforestation ‒ on 9 hectares, natural reforestation ‒ on 2480 hectares and afforestation ‒ on 102 hectares”.
Also, during 2020, employees of the subordinate institutions of the Ministry ‒ forestry enterprises carried out work on agrotechnical care of forest crops on an area of 16 thousand hectares, supplementing forest crops ‒ by 4.5 thousand hectares, sowing seeds in basic forest nurseries ‒ by 26.3 ha. In addition, 37.4 million pieces were grown. standard planting material and harvested 23.3 tons of seeds of the main forest-forming species. The specialists of Aksubaevsky, Alkeevsky, Arsky, Bavlinsky, Yelabuzhsky, Zainsky, Zelenodolsky, Isleitarsky, Kaibitsky, Kaleykinsky, Kamsky, Kyzyl-Yulduzsky, Laishevsky, Leninogorsky, Mamadyshsky, Menzeliansky, Cheremshansky, Prigorodnogo Lubovshansky, Prigorodnogo Lubovshansky forestry enterprises distinguished themselves in growing seedlings. For the collection of seeds ‒ Aksubaevsky, Arsky, Kamsky, Kyzyl-Yulduzsky, Nurlatsky, Prigorodny, Sabinsky and Cheremshansky forestry enterprises of the republic.
Since the beginning of the year, as part of the federal state forest supervision, inspectors have conducted more than 20 thousand patrols, identified 399 cases of violation of forest legislation requirements and issued 1.3 thousand warnings.
Ilgizar Zaripov also drew the attention of the meeting participants to the quality of registration of forest pathological inspection reports, the need to update the data in the register of dead and damaged plantations and timely receipt of forest declarations and reports established by the Forest Code of the Russian Federation.
Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov dwelled on issues of labor protection, wood supply to enterprises of the republic, effective operation of the fleet of equipment, the results of financial and economic activities of subordinate institutions for 2020 and work in the Online Accounting program. “Thanks to the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Federal Forestry Agency and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, this year the fleet of equipment of the subordinate institutions of the Ministry was significantly updated. Institutions received 189 units of forestry, forest fire and logging equipment and 21 units of equipment, ‒ said Rais Gumerov. ‒ It is necessary to ensure the proper operation of equipment, as well as its maintenance and storage.”
Minister Ravil Kuzyurov summed up the meeting. He gave a number of instructions related to the implementation of silvicultural, forest protection, forestry work, the implementation of federal state forest supervision, the development of the allowable cut, the use of the equipment fleet, etc. “In addition, I ask you to pay special attention to the development of plans for extinguishing forest fires and preparing for a fire hazard season in the woods. Forest fire propaganda should be conducted all year round,” Ravil Kuzyurov emphasized.
