Operation “Spruce” continues in Tatarstan

In the Republic of Tatarstan, the “Spruce” preventive measure continues. Within its framework, the state forest inspectors of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bolgarsky forestry” revealed the fact of illegal felling of forest plantations in the allotment of block 28 of the 62nd Spassky forestry. “An offender who cut down a pine tree was arrested. A protocol on an administrative offense has been drawn up against him, the harm caused to the forest fund is estimated at 588 rubles, said the head-forester Dmitry Zarifullin. In total, our sites are patrolled by 2 mobile patrol groups from among the employees of the forestry and the territorial department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.”

Recall that Operation Spruce started on December 20 of this year. Illegal felling, damage to forest plantations entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of 3 to 4 thousand rubles, on officials from 20 to 40 thousand rubles, on legal entities from 200 to 300 thousand rubles. In addition, a person who has committed illegal felling will have to compensate for the damage caused to forests, which depends on the species of the felled tree and its place of growth, the category of forest protection.
