Today in the Department of Forestry in the Volga Federal District a meeting of the headquarters for the coordination of activities to extinguish forest fires in the Volga Federal District was held. The meeting was held via videoconference, chaired by the head of the department, Alexander Ornatsky.
The event was attended by representatives of the forestry management bodies of the district, including from the Republic of Tatarstan ‒ the first deputy minister of forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov and the head of the sector for the protection and protection of the forestry fund of the Ministry Alexei Mosunov.
During the meeting, issues of preparation for a fire hazardous season in forests in the subjects of the Volga Federal District, the development and approval of consolidated plans for extinguishing forest fires, the implementation of the federal project “Preservation of Forests” within the framework of the national project “Ecology”, etc. were discussed.
In addition, Alexander Ornatsky dwelled on the issues of digitalization of the forestry complex and the modernization of the LesEGAIS system.
