Acceptance of applications for participation in the competition for the National Award “Crystal Compass” has been extended until February 20, 2021.
The Crystal Compass is a prestigious international award that is awarded for outstanding achievements in the field of geography, ecology, conservation of natural and historical and cultural heritage. The competition is held annually under the auspices of the Russian Geographical Society.
Domestic and foreign public organizations, scientific and educational institutions, creative unions, enterprises, as well as independent initiative groups and other individuals can take part in the competition.
The winners will be determined in 11 nominations: “Scientific achievement”, “Education”, “The best social and information project for the preservation of natural and historical and cultural heritage”, “The best environmental project of industrial enterprises, business”, “Travel and expedition”, “The best media coverage”, “Publishing”, “Photo work”, “Citizenship”, “Best Regional Project” and “Public Recognition”.
