The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, the head of the Executive Committee of the Verkhneuslonsky municipal district Ilnur Shakirov, the head-forester Rustem Ismagilov, the director of the forestry enterprise Faril Galiakhmetov, representatives of the executive committee of the district, the district chamber of land and property relations, the district administration of agriculture and food, heads of rural settlements.
Rustem Ismagilov made a keynote speech on the work carried out in 2020. He said that on the territory of the Privolzhsky forestry, work was carried out on reforestation on an area of 28 hectares, laying protective forest plantations ‒ on 20 hectares, agrotechnical care for forest crops ‒ 150 hectares, supplementing forest crops ‒ 45 hectares.
“In order to protect forests, a forest pathological survey was carried out on an area of 350 hectares and sanitary and health measures ‒ on an area of 91 hectares,” Rustem Ismagilov said.
After that, Niyaz Shaikhutdinov, the forestry engineer, chairman of the organization, informed about the activities of the primary trade union organization.
First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov summed up the meeting. He gave the specialists a number of instructions related to the implementation of the regional project “Preservation of Forests in the Republic of Tatarstan”, the implementation of federal state forest supervision (forest protection) and the implementation of sanitary and recreational activities. “It is also necessary to pay special attention to the issues of preparation for the fire hazardous season and campaigning and preventive work among the population to comply with fire safety rules in forests,” stressed Ilgizar Zaripov.
