The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan began preparations for the International Action “Garden of Memory”
The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan has begun preparations for the International Action “Garden of Memory”. It is expected that the action will be organized in the Republic of Tatarstan in the spring of 2021.
Currently, work is underway to determine the location of sites on the territory of the forest fund and municipal districts, as well as to determine the species composition of planting material.
Recall that for the first time the International Action “Garden of Memory” was held in the spring of 2020. It was organized by the All-Russian public movement “Victory Volunteers” and the Victory Commanders Memorial Fund with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation and the Federal Forestry Agency. As part of the action, 511 thousand trees were planted in Tatarstan in memory of the great feat of 350 thousand Tatarstanians who did not return home from the front, to their relatives and friends.
