In 2021, sanitary and recreational activities will be carried out in the Republic of Tatarstan on an area of 5818 hectares. Let us recall that the purpose of this type of work is to preserve the biological stability of plantations, to prevent the widespread development of pathological processes in the forest, and to reduce damage from pests and diseases.
Sanitary and recreational activities will be carried out during the year by the specialists of the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tajikistan ‒ forestry enterprises. Particular attention will be paid to areas of the forest fund with an increased recreational load ‒ near highways, settlements, as well as social facilities.
After carrying out sanitary and recreational measures (sanitary felling) after cleaning and preparing the soil, reforestation will be carried out, planned within the framework of the regional project “Preservation of Forests in the Republic of Tatarstan” of the national project “Ecology”.
