Today in the Department of Forestry in the Volga Federal District, a meeting of the headquarters was held in the mode of videoconference to coordinate activities to extinguish forest fires in the Volga Federal District. The meeting was chaired by the head of the department, Alexander Ornatsky.
The event was attended by representatives of forestry management bodies of the Volga Federal District, incl. from the Republic of Tatarstan ‒ Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Rais Gumerov and head of the sector for the protection and protection of the forestry fund of the Ministry Alexey Mosunov.
During the meeting, issues of development and approval of consolidated plans for extinguishing forest fires, preparation for a fire hazardous season in forests, incl. checking the serviceability of forest fire equipment and fire-fighting equipment, forming mobile fire extinguishing groups, etc.
It should be noted that this year Tatarstan became the first of the regions of the Volga Federal District, where a consolidated plan for extinguishing forest fires was approved. This was also stated by the head of the department, Alexander Ornatsky.
