The Forestry Department of the Volga Federal District discussed issues of forest protection work in 2021
Today, the Forestry Department of the Volga Federal District hosted a videoconference meeting on forest protection work in 2021. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Head of the Department Sergei Kovalev.
The event was attended by representatives of forestry management bodies of the Volga Federal District, incl. from the Republic of Tatarstan ‒ Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Rais Gumerov and head of the sector for the protection and protection of the forest fund of the Ministry Alexei Mosunov.
During the meeting, a plan for forest protection works in the regions of the Volga Federal District in 2021 was discussed. “In 4 regions, measures are planned to eliminate foci of harmful organisms. I ask you to start preparatory work,” said Sergei Kovalev, in particular.
Recall that in the Republic of Tatarstan in order to protect forests this year, work will be carried out on forest pathological examination of forest plantations on an area of 37.6 thousand hectares and sanitary and recreational measures on an area of 5.8 thousand hectares.
