The Ministry considered the preparation for the fire hazardous season in the forests in the Pestrechinsky and Mendeleevsky districts of Tatarstan
Today, the Ministry hosted a videoconference meeting on preparations for the fire hazardous season in the forests of 2021 in the Pestrechinsky municipal district. It was chaired by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. The event was attended by the head of the municipal district Ilham Kashapov, head foresters, directors of forestry enterprises of the republic, heads of rural settlements.
The meeting was opened by the head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov.
In his welcoming speech, the head of the district Ilham Kashapov noted the importance of interaction between the Pestrechinsky district forestry of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Laishevsky forestry” with the territorial department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan in order to prevent forest fires. “Agricultural burns are especially dangerous,” he stressed.
The main report was made by Fanil Fazlyev, deputy head-forester of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Laishevsky forestry”. He said that in 2020, on the territory of the Pestrechinsky district forestry, work was carried out on the laying and updating of fire-prevention mineralized belts with a total length of 170 km, the creation and reconstruction of fire-fighting roads ‒ 16 km.
“5 notices and posters on fire-fighting topics were installed, more than 2 thousand information leaflets were distributed. Patrols of the forest fund lands, monitoring of the fire hazardous situation and active forest fire propaganda were carried out, ‒ Fanil Fazlyev said. ‒ Such events are planned for this year as well. To date, 42 warnings have been issued to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs about the inadmissibility of violating fire safety requirements in forests.”
The results of the meeting were summed up by the head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. “In the coming period, it is necessary to strengthen control over the observance of fire safety requirements in forests by citizens, institutions, organizations, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities. This especially concerns the fulfillment of requirements in terms of cleaning the areas adjacent to the forest from dry grassy vegetation, crop residues, deadwood, felling residues, garbage and other combustible materials, or the separation of the forest with a fire-fighting mineralized strip,” the minister said.
The same meeting on the preparation for the fire hazardous season in the forests was held today with the participation of the head of the Mendeleevsky municipal district Valery Chershintsev.
Ramis Gilaziev, head-forester of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Elabuzhsky forestry”, reported on the results of the work performed in 2020 to ensure fire safety in the forests.
Further, the participants of the meeting discussed the issues of carrying out a set of measures for the fire-prevention arrangement of forests, the implementation of measures to prevent the occurrence of forest fires in the territory of the municipal district in 2021.
