It is now possible to register in LesEGAIS through the State Services

30 March 2021, Tuesday

From March 30, 2021, you can access the LesEGAIS system through the Unified Identification and Authentication System (ESIA) ‒ the State Services portal.

“The updated way of access to LesEGAIS makes it easier for participants in forestry relations to register in the system. It is only necessary to remember that the user must log in to the State Services as an employee of a legal entity or an individual entrepreneur, but not as an individual,” explained Ivan Sovetnikov, Deputy Head of the Federal Forestry Agency.

New users to register in LesEGAIS need to click the “Login through State Services (ESIA)” button in the login form on the official website of the system and pass authorization on the ESIA as an employee of a legal entity or individual entrepreneur.

Work in LesEGAIS of users who already have access to the system will also become possible after confirming their account on the State Services after the preliminary addition of the organization and its employees to the group “Access to the EGAIS portal for timber accounting and transactions with it”. After authorization through the State Services, the user will have access to information about previously entered documents.

If you have any technical questions about the work of the LesEGAIS portal and registration in the system, you can contact the technical support service through the feedback form.

Changes in the authorization mechanism are made in accordance with the provision of the Forest Code of the Russian Federation, established by federal law dated 04.02.2021 No. 3-FZ. As a reminder, from January 1, 2021, an experiment is underway in a number of Russian regions to test the modernized LeEGAIS functionality. From July 1, 2021, the use of the updated system will become mandatory for all participants in forestry relations.
