Since the beginning of the year, 234 kg of coniferous seeds have been procured in the forestry enterprises of the republic
Since the beginning of 2021, specialists from subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan ‒ forestry enterprises have procured 234 kg of coniferous seeds. Of these, pine ‒ 107 kg and spruce ‒ 127 kg.
Among the leaders in seed procurement are Arsky, Mamadyshsky and Educational-Experimental Sabinsky forestry enterprises of the republic.
It should be reminded that the harvesting of seeds of forest plants is an additional indicator of the regional project “Preservation of Forests in the Republic of Tatarstan” within the framework of the federal project “Preservation of Forests” of the national project “Ecology”. According to the project, this year it is necessary to procure at least 11455 kg of seeds. It should be noted that the bulk of the seeds will be collected in the second half of this year.
For reference. During 2020, specialists of the forestry industry of the Republic of Tatarstan procured 23338 kg of seeds of the main forest-forming species (204% of the plan), incl. 769 kg of conifers and 1865 kg with improved hereditary properties.
