Today, the Ministry hosted a videoconference meeting on preparations for a fire hazardous season in forests in the Yutazinsky municipal district. The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, the head of the Executive Committee of the Yutazinsky municipal district Svetlana Samonina, the head-forester of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bugulminsky forestry” Gulnara Mukhametkhanova, heads of rural settlements.
The main report was made by Gulnara Mukhametkhanova, head-forester of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bugulminsky forestry”. “In preparation for the fire hazardous season in the forests, we have developed a plan for extinguishing forest fires on the territory of the Bugulminsky forestry, signed agreements on cooperation with the fire and rescue units of the Aznakayevsky, Bugulminsky, Leninogorsky, Yutazinsky and Bavlinsky municipal districts, approved the routes of ground patrolling of forest lands and voluntary squads have been formed,” Gulnara Mukhametkhanova said.
Also, 30 warnings were issued to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements, requirements established by municipal legal acts.
“At present, active campaigning and preventive work is being carried out among the population to comply with fire safety rules in forests,” added the head-forester.
First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov summed up the meeting. “It is necessary to strengthen control over the observance of fire safety rules in forests by citizens, institutions, organizations, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities. In particular, this is the fulfillment of the requirements for cleaning the territories adjacent to the forest from dry grassy vegetation, crop residues, deadwood, felling residues, garbage and other combustible materials, or the separation of the forest with a fire-fighting mineralized strip,” he stressed.
