Today, the Ministry discussed the preparations for the fire hazardous season in the forests of the Kamsko-Ustinsky municipal district. The meeting was chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov. The event, which was held in the videoconference mode, was attended by the head of the executive committee of the municipal district Rinat Zagidullin, the head-forester of the Tetyushsky forestry GKU Ranil Rakhmatullin, the director of the Tetyushsky forestry enterprise state budgetary institution Rais Khalitov, and the heads of rural settlements.
Ranil Rakhmatullin, the head-forester of the Tetyushsky forestry, Ranil Rakhmatullin, reported on the work carried out in 2020 to ensure fire safety in the forests. “Klyarinsky district forestry and a part of Tetyushsky district forestry are located on the territory of the Kamsko-Ustinsky district. The total area of the forest fund is 11 thousand hectares,” he said.
According to him, last year, within the framework of a set of measures for the fire-prevention arrangement of forests, work was carried out to lay and update fire-prevention mineralized belts with a total length of 20.5 km, reconstruction of fire-fighting roads ‒ 12 km. Also, information boards and banners on fire-fighting topics were installed, and recreation areas for citizens staying in the forests were improved.
“Currently, preparations for the fire hazard period of 2021 are in full swing. To date, 11 warnings have been issued to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs of the region about the inadmissibility of violating fire safety requirements in forests. Voluntary fire brigades have been formed, routes for ground patrolling of forest lands have been approved,” Ranil Rakhmatullin added.
Summing up the results of the meeting, First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov gave a number of instructions related to the implementation of fire-prevention measures this year, the conduct of campaigning and preventive work among the population to comply with fire safety rules in forests, etc.
