A meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today the Ministry hosted a meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event, which was held in the videoconference mode, was attended by the Deputy Ministers of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, Rais Gumerov, Director of the FBU VNIILM branch “East European LOS” Fedor Ilyin, Director of the FBU “Roslesozashchita” branch – “Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan” Nadezhda Kuzyakina, director of the Kazan branch of the FSBI “Roslesinforg” Airat Yusupov, director of the GBPOU “Lubyanka Forestry College” Rim Fakhraziev, heads and specialists of the structural divisions of the Ministry, etc.
During the meeting, proposals for conducting research work in 2021-2022 were discussed. In particular, such topics were considered as the development of a program for the restoration of oak forests in the Republic of Tatarstan, an inventory of the forest seed base (plus plantations) in the forest fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, testing of the VD-AK-101 “PROTECT” tool in order to reduce the negative impact of wild ungulates animals on young pine crops, etc.
Of particular interest was the topic of analyzing the state of the forest fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and the work carried out over 50 years on the protection, protection and reproduction of forests using digital technologies.
As a result of the meeting, a decision was made on the need to develop new priority areas of research activities in the field of forestry. The next discussion of this issue is scheduled for the 2nd quarter of this year.
