Employees of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Prigorodny forestry” conducted an ecological raid within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period
Today the employees of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Prigorodny forestry” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Educational-Experimental Prigorodny Forestry Enterprise” conducted an ecological raid within the framework of the sanitary-ecological two-month period and the republican nature conservation action “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”. Experts examined the territory of the Matyushinsky district forestry, collected garbage and cleaned dead trees.
“In April, we traditionally begin work on cleaning up the forest fund and ensuring fire safety in the forests, ‒ said Ilnur Kashafeev, head-forester of the Prigorodny Forestry, State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan. ‒ In order to identify offenders, we conduct systematic patrols of forest areas, use camera traps. To date, about 12 cubic meters of solid household waste have been removed from the territory of the Prigorodny forestry”.
It is worth noting that in total, within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period from April 1, 2021, the state forest inspectors of the republic identified 26 places of unauthorized waste disposal and compiled 5 protocols on administrative offenses under Art. 8.31 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for violation of sanitary safety rules in forests. Violations were recorded by employees of the GKU RT “Cheremshansky forestry”, GKU RT “Yelabuzhsky forestry” and GKU RT “Sabinsky forestry”. In total, 36 cubic meters of MSW were collected and removed.
