In the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bugulminsky forestry” they have completed the harvesting of cuttings of deciduous trees. “In total, 15 thousand pieces of Hybrid-38 poplar cuttings have been harvested. The cuttings will be placed in the school branch of the nursery, and then used to establish protective forest plantations, ‒ said Nurfiya Ibragimova, an engineer for reforestation of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bugulminsky forestry”. ‒ At the end of this week, we plan to start excavating the standard planting material.”
Within the framework of the spring forest cultivation season in 2021, on the territory of the Bugulminsky forestry, work will be carried out on reforestation on an area of 126 hectares, supplementing forest crops ‒ on 220 hectares, agrotechnical care for forest crops ‒ on 634 hectares, sowing seeds in a nursery ‒ on 0.8 hectares. In addition, work is planned to establish protective forest plantations in the Aznakayevsky district on an area of 100 hectares.
